When you hear the word penny stock, you often associate it with trading and the stock market.  Penny Stock trading is often composed of shares of small companies that do not trade more than $1 in the stock exchange market or similarly, does not trade big in the stock market of other countries.

One might ask, am I actually earning if I were to invest in penny stock trading?  If you’re going to ask investors and experts on stock market trading, amidst the nature of penny stocks, you still profit from it.  However, it may not be as big as profits gained from large company stocks or the stocks invested in any of the Fortune companies.

The next question that you might have in mind is where does one go if they would want to trade penny stocks?  One this is sure, you cannot simply purchase penny stocks from regular stock markets and these are not regulated by any government agency that can uphold the law when it comes to investment trading.  If you’re interested in playing the stock market and purchasing penny stocks, then the best way to get one is by doing an “over the counter” or OTCBB deal.

OTCBB are deals where you will be offered a quote for the specific stock and then, you would be asked to place an order.  The value of penny stocks may rise significantly in the market which would then translate into income.  This is one of the reasons why a lot of investors would prefer penny stock trading as opposed to large stocks.  Take note that OTCBB are often called “pink sheets” as literally, the quotation of the prices of shares are written on a pink sheet of paper.

Another way of purchasing penny stock is by means of the internet.  Now-a-days, there has been a lot of websites that offer FOREX, Oil, and other stock market trading.  The advantage of doing stuff online is that you can start when you’re ready.  You don’t need to rely on another person to purchase stocks for you.  The reports in the stocks are real-time and easily accessible from your own PC.  You can determine when to sell the shares once it hits a high market value.
